Service Overview
Floorplanning.io is a digital floorplan creation and editing platform that allows users to convert handwritten sketches, photographs, walkthrough videos, and text descriptions into editable digital floorplans. The service includes AI-powered floorplan generation, 2D and 3D visualisation, editing tools, and export capabilities.
Account Registration
To access certain features of the service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. User Content and Licence
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to floorplanning.io, including hand-drawn floorplan images, photographs, videos, and text descriptions ("User Content"). You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and share any User Content that you submit to the service.
Licence to Us
By uploading User Content, you grant floorplanning.io a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, process, and store your User Content for the purpose of providing and improving the service. This includes processing your content through AI models to generate digital floorplans and visualisations.
Generated Content
The digital floorplans, room layouts, furniture placements, and other data generated by our AI models from your User Content ("Generated Content") are owned by you and may be used for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
Permitted Use
You agree to use floorplanning.io only for lawful purposes. You may use the service to create, edit, and export floorplans for personal, educational, or professional real estate and architectural projects.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to: (a) upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others; (b) upload content that you do not have permission to share; (c) use the service to create misleading or fraudulent floorplans; (d) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service; (e) use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service; (f) use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.
5. Intellectual Property
Our Rights
Floorplanning.io, including its software, design, features, and branding, is owned by us and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary information.
AI Models
The AI models, algorithms, and processing pipelines used to generate floorplans from your content are our proprietary technology. You do not acquire any rights to these models by using the service.
6. Disclaimers and Limitations
Service Accuracy
Floorplans generated by our AI are approximate and based on the information provided in your uploaded content. We do not guarantee that generated floorplans are dimensionally accurate, structurally sound, or suitable for construction or legal purposes. Generated floorplans are for illustrative and conceptual purposes only.
No Professional Advice
Floorplanning.io does not provide architectural, engineering, or surveying advice. Generated floorplans should not be relied upon for construction, renovation, permitting, or legal purposes. Always consult a qualified professional for such purposes.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, floorplanning.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Account Termination
Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time from the account settings. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all your floorplan projects and personal data within 30 days.
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we believe your conduct is harmful to the service or other users. We may also terminate or modify the service at any time.
8. Changes to These Terms
Updates
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and, where appropriate, sending you an email notification. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
